Another two celebrities have signed up for The Jump 2016 in case of injuries, it's been revealed.
The Wanted star Tom Parker and former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna have both joined the Channel 4 show and will be training alongside the main line up.
However they will not actually be taking part in the competition unless one of the main stars is forced to withdraw.
Unfortunately injuries on the show are common and in the first series it was X Factor's Joe McElderry who won after originally starting the show as a stand in, replacing Henry Conway who had to leave due a hand injury.
A total cast of twelve stars were previously revealed who will be taking to the ski-slopes in Austria to appear in 8 different winter sports at the start of the series.
The fearless females taking on The Jump will be Olympic gold medal winning swimmer Rebecca Adlington OBE, Girls Aloud star and actress Sarah Harding, Olympic bronze medal winning gymnast Beth Tweddle, Holby City actress Tina Hobley, Eastenders actress Louisa Lytton and original ‘It Girl’ and ‘Girl About Town’ Tamara Beckwith.
The courageous men ready to fly down the mountains are Olympic gold medal winning 100m runner and sporting legend Linford Christie OBE, Irish pop star and TV presenter Brian McFadden, Made in Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli, Eastenders’ actor Sid Owen, TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent, and Superman heartthrob and actor Dean Cain.
Although the start date has not yet been officially announced, we know The Jump 2016 starts VERY soon on Channel 4.
