The Jump 2015 winner Joey Essex has put his surprise victory down to God.
It was Joey who won The Jump 2015 last night, beating favourite Mike Tindall in the final jump.
Joey flew 17.5 metres compared to his rival's 17 metre distance.
Speaking after his exit today, Joey said: "I was just saying a few words. I didn't know that was on TV! I think that helped. I prayed. I done a special pray."
And after triumphing over Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson in the live final last night, Joey added: "At least I've made Essex proud and I can hold my hands up and happily say, 'Essex beat Chelsea!'"
Meanwhile Joey, who suggested that "maybe [he] could enter the Olympics next year", told DigitalSpy he's still not sure what he's actually won with the golden cowbell prize trophy.
He told the website: "I didn't really know what one was at first – I couldn't believe I was even getting a cowbell. I thought it was at least going to be a medal. But I'm going to treat it as a medal – I'm going to try and hang it up on the wall in my living room, I suppose."
Joey's victory is even more surprising after he admitted to being distracted by fancing many of his female competitors.
"[I fancied] all of them," he said. "I mean, Louise has got a boyfriend, so I can't really comment there, but she's a lovely, lovely girl and I've got a lot of respect for her and she did really well in the competition.
"Ashley, she's single and she's a really nice girl. I don't know what's going to happen, but we're cool."
