The Jump 2015 results: JLS star JB Gill out in snowboard semi-final

The Jump Series 2 - (JB Gill)

Former JLS singer JB Gill has been eliminated from The Jump 2015 just 24 hours before the final, having fared the worst in the snowboarding event.

After Mike Tindall received a golden ticket to the final in the last episode, the remaining six celebrities were paired off according to their training times for head-to-head snowboard slalom races, reaching speeds of up to 40mph.

Whoever performed worst in each paring would face the ski jump eliminator in their quest to stay in the competition.

First it was a reality TV battle, with Joey Essex taking on Louise Thompson. The latter fell just a few seconds in, allowing the TOWIE star to take the lead and win - scoring 40.17 seconds to Louise's 1 minute 6 seconds.

Jon-Allan Butterworth then faced JB, with the duo coming so close that they caused each other to tumble in quick succession - but it was Jon-Allan who recovered the quickest, winning by 35.86 seconds to JB's 45.15.

Finally, Chloe Madeley went up against Louise Hazel. The Olympian dropped at the top of the slope - but soon overtook Chloe, who had two falls of her own. Louise passed the finish line after 51.33 seconds, with Chloe following at 1.08.62.

This left Louise Thompson, JB and Chloe in danger, with the trio facing two rounds of jumping to determine who would leave.

All three went off the middle K24 track, and Chloe booked her place in the final after reaching a distance of 15.0 metres - with her opponents tieing at 14.5 metres.

Louise and JB then returned to the K24 for round two - and the Made In Chelsea cast member scored a personal best of 17 metres against JB's 13.5, meaning it was the former X Factor contestant who got his marching orders.

Revealing his series highlight to host Davina McCall, he said: "Bobsleigh, I won the event, I was very pleased with that."

The Jump 2015 concludes tomorrow at 8.00pm on Channel 4, when Chloe, Joey, Jon-Allan, Louise H, Louise T and Mike will take on the ski cross and the air jump.
