Shazia Mirza fell on rocks on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls 2017 tonight.
In this evening's episode, ravaged by hunger, mosquitoes and sandflies, tensions were building in the camp. Musician Jordan Stephens in particular was attracting the ire of the other celebrities, who felt he was not pulling his weight.
Later, things took a turn for the worst for one of the group.
Comedian Shazia Mirza threw every ounce of energy into finding food but exhausted from relentless hours of fishing, she slipped on rocks and knocked her head.
Left unconscious, medics from Bear's team rushed to the island where, after a check up, they gave her the all clear to continue.
Recently discussing her time on the show, Shazia described the experience as "terrifying" and "truly horrific"
"It was really, really bad and there was nothing and no-one to help us," she said. “People think there was someone off screen ready with some crisps but we really didn’t. We didn’t get any help at all and it was very, very difficult."
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Shazia explained: “One night we experienced a mini-tsunami and we were sheltering in a ditch with palm fronds over us. I called it the Vietnam War because it was like what I’ve seen on films. We may not have had people shooting at us but we had coconuts falling on our heads.
“We’d been told to radio the SAS on a neighbouring island in an emergency, but the weather was so bad we couldn’t get a signal.
“We really were in terrible trouble."
Tonight's latest episode saw two more celebs quit.
Olympian & TV presenter Sharron Davies and Actor & Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens both requested to leave the island after two weeks.
Celebs left living on The Island alongside Iwan are comedian Mark Watson and Actor Ryan Thomas.
They're joined by Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton, Comedian & writer Shazia Mirza and TV doctor Sara Kayat.
