Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls cast: The celebrities who remain

The line up of celebrities on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls have lost two of their numbers.

JLS singer Aston Merrygold and Rugby hunk Thom Evans BOTH quit Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls 2016 at the weekend.

The group of all stars were dropped off on The Island for the first time last weekend to fend for themselves and it didn't go quite to plan.

After running out of water and ending up lost in the jungle, they had to call for help twice within hours of arriving.

It was all too much for Aston who said: "I came into this very naive and I’m just going to go home.”

Thom later announced: "I’ve decided to leave the island, I set out to finish this but it’s sadly not going to be the case.”

So who's left on The Island?

Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls' line up

Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke
Comedian and writer Dom Joly
The Hotel’s Mark Jenkins
Former Labour Councillor and ‘selfie queen’ Karen Danczuk

Channel 4’s Dr Dawn Harper
Comedian Josie Long
TOWIE star Lydia Bright
Former Blue Peter presenter Zoe Salmon

Could the cast be about to dwindle even further this week?

In Sunday's show, the celebrities still haven't eaten a single proper meal.

The Hotel's Mark plans to get the islanders hunting for turkeys. But Mark's management style puts him at odds with the others, especially former Labour councillor Karen.

Following an attack of sand flies, a rift emerges, fuelling Karen's own leadership ambitions.

Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls airs Sunday nights on Channel 4 at 9PM.
