Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls on Channel 4 starts tonight and here is the line up of celebrities taking part.
A Celebrity series of The Island with Bear Grylls was reported to have been in the works as early as August last year but Channel 4 only confirmed earlier in 2016 it was actually happening.
10 celebrities have signed up for the show with the group made up of familiar faces from the worlds of television, music, sport and comedy.
The Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls will start TONIGHT - Sunday, September 18 at 9PM - and is all in the aid of charity for Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer campaign.
But just who is taking part?
Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls' line up
Channel 4’s Dr Dawn Harper
Former Labour Councillor and ‘selfie queen’ Karen Danczuk
Comedian Josie Long
TOWIE star Lydia Bright
Former Blue Peter presenter Zoe Salmon
The celebrity version of The Island will be much the same as the regular series that concluded its third run back in the spring, although slightly shorter.
Following an intense 'survival school' where the celebs learn about making fire, shelter, finding food and dealing with dangerous animals, the celebrity contestants will be left on an uninhabited island in the middle of nowhere with just the clothes they're wearing and a handful of basic tools like knives.
They'll have to build somewhere to live, hunt for food and keep safe: The latest run of the main show saw one contestant flown to hospital after falling from a cliff while another had to give himself stitches following an accident with a machete.
If it all does go terribly wrong and the group get into real trouble, they can call SOS and have help rushed to them from Bear's team on another nearby island.
Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls airs Sunday nights on Channel 4 at 9PM.
