Bear Grylls' The Island has proved to be a matchmaker for two loved up contestants from the show.
Barney Strange and Chavala Parker appeared on last year's series, although they never actually met on the show as 2015 saw the men and women living separately on different islands.
Whereas this year's series has seen the guys and girls sharing the same land for the first time, Barney and Chavala spent their time on the Channel 4 programme far apart.
But it didn't stop them coming together once the series had ended.
Barney told the Daily Mirror newspaper about deciding to sign up for The Island last year: “I wasn’t particularly settled in my life, I’d recently split up with my girlfriend, and I wasn’t very happy in my job at the time.
“The Island looked like an ultimate challenge. I wanted to test myself and find out what I’d be like.”
And Chavala added: “I absolutely loved and loathed it at the same time.
“But we are both very grateful to Bear because inadvertently he’s managed to make us very happy.
“He doesn’t look like a natural cupid though. He is a bit too tough for that.”
She went on: “If it wasn’t for The Island I don’t think I would’ve been sure of what I wanted. It’s given me such a different outlook on life and made me realise I can do more than I thought I could.
“I have big dreams. I want happiness. My future is with Barney.”
The pair are now set to move in together to a place out in the countryside.
“We want to be self sufficient and live off the land, like The Island taught us," Barney said.
The Island with Bear Grylls' series 3 concludes tonight on Channel 4 at 9PM.
