The Island with Bear Grylls rose to over 2 million viewers in the ratings last night.
The second episode of this year's series was watched by an average of 2.01 million viewers yesterday evening, up almost 400,000 viewers on Wednesday evening's premiere.
Including those who caught up on +1 and a total of more than 2.3 million tuned in.
This year's second series has seen a new format with two episodes a week.
There's both a male and female island with 14 members of both sexes having to survive alone on what the island and its habitat has to offer, filming everything that happens themselves.
But last night - which focused on the women's island - saw one girl give up after just a few days into the challenge.
The Island continues next Wednesday and Thursday nights on Channel 4.
