The Big Reunion

The Big Reunion 2014 start date has been confirmed for February 6 on ITV2.

The Big Reunion 2014 features exclusive and explosive accounts from former pop heroes, with revelations about drugs, fisticuffs, rows, eating disorders, shattered dreams and how the music industry can leave even apparently successful stars penniless.

Each band has just two weeks of intense rehearsals before they step back onto the stage to perform once again in front of thousands of fans.

The first episode features R&B pioneers Damage and Simon Cowell’s answer to the Spice Girls, Girl Thing, as they reveal the intense highs and lows of life at the peak of the pop world.

From schoolyard to stage, north London’s urban soul boys Damage smashed the charts with a string of top ten hits including the iconic ‘Ghetto Romance’. The band reveals how sex, drugs and overspending destroyed their dream.

Episode 1 also offers a taster from new band 5th Story. Gareth says: "My life changed overnight. Everything I seemed to release went to number one. I just enjoyed everything that was thrown at me.” He continues: “The band all sound very interesting, I know a few of them. Myself and Dane share a mutual friend."

Coming up in episode 2, the biggest girl group of the early nineties, Eternal, tell their story.

Also coming up in episode 2, Brit Award winners A1 discuss how they struggled to come to terms with a fatal accident involving their fans.

The Big Reunion is an ITV Studios production for ITV2. Executive producers are Michael Kelpie and Phil Mount, ITV Studios. Series producer is Kevin Lane, ITV Studios.

The Big Reunion starts at 9PM on ITV2 for February 6
