Fired Apprentice candidate Maria O’Connor has revealed how she arrested at the age of 17 during a police drugs raid.

"I'm not that sort of girl. I've worked hard since I was 15. In my teens, my mates were getting drunk but I was working hard. As soon as I realised what was going on, I didn't want to know him."

Maria was given the axe by Lord Sugar on last night's show after she fell to sleep in the back of the car during the task.

He told her: "I’m not clear what in fact you did in this task, Maria – You’re Fired
