Apprentice boss Lord Sugar has revealed he could well do a deal with finalist Susan Ma after being impressed with her natural skin care range and business plan. Speaking on yesterday's Apprentice final, Lord Sugar revealed he liked Susan's idea - despite firing her in third place.
Susan was criticised for the ambitious predictions in her business plan, which had suggested her company would've made £1 million profit in its first year.
However although the £250,000 investment eventually went to Tom Pellereau, Lord Sugar teased there could also be room for Susan's plan to get some investment.
"Susan, do you know what, I always wanted to be in the cosmetics industry and Susan's definitely got something about her," he said.
"All I can say is, I would like to keep in close contact there, because there may be some synergy there between [Tom's] nail file. There could be a deal to be done."
Meanwhile on the other finalists Jim Eastwood and Helen Milligan, Lord Sugar said: "When it comes to salesmanship and his way with people, Jim may want to tackle the Irish debt.
"He might be able to sort it. If anyone ever needs a sales person, he is the man."
He added: "This year, because of the economic climate, I wanted to demonstrate that people can still start a business from scratch. In Helen’s case, if this was the old system where I gave someone a job, quite clearly she would have walked it.”
