10.7 million viewers tune in to see Tom Pellereau win The Apprentice

A peak audience of 10.7 million viewers tuned into watch as Lord Sugar decided to award Tom Pellereau a £250,000 investment on last night's Apprentice 2011 final. The show's final averaged 9.1 million viewers from 9PM, making it the most watched final ever.

The two hour special, which saw Tom beat out the likes of Helen Milligan, Susan Ma and Jim Eastwood to be named Lord Sugar's business partner, had an audience share of 36% over the two hours between 9 and 11PM last night.

ITV1's new celebrity talent show Born to Shine failed to pick up the ratings at 8PM, with just 2.9 million viewers tuning in to watch Kimberley Walsh guest judge celebs such as Nick Moran performing new skills.
