Fired Apprentice candidate Zoe Beresford admits to "bad decision" in biscuit task

Zoe Beresford

Fired Apprentice candidate Zoe Beresford has claimed that she should've "stuck to her guns" and went to the factory in this week's biscuit producing task. Speaking after her exit from the show, Zoe admitted to trying to be all things to all people - and failing very badly when the results were revealed!

As project manager for Team Logic, Zoe secured an appalling ZERO orders for her product 'Bix Mix' with big retailers including Asda slamming the product. Meanwhile Helen took charge of Team Venture to secure a record ninth win in a row and topped it off with another record sales figure - 800,000 orders from one of the shops.

In the boardroom, Lord Sugar blasted her decision as the project manager to stand back and focus on the packaging, rather than go to the factory and focus on making sure the product was good enough to eat, let alone sell!

Zoe told You're Fired: "I should have stuck to my guns. I think it was a particularly unique team, shall we say.

"I tried to be all things to all men. I was always taught that if everyone wants something different, do what you want, then at least one person is happy. I should have stuck to that advice... It was the letdown of this task, it was a bad decision. Game over."

And grumpy Zoe claimed she was 'too passionate' for the show, leading to numerous clashes with the other candidates. Talking about arguments with Melody and Susan, Zoe told Dara O'Briain: "That's the passion, that's where it came out. Maybe I should have used my passion for rallying instead... I'm normally a bit happier than I have been in this series I have to say."

However Zoe added: "I would strongly encourage anyone to apply. I was that person, I sat there week after week thinking, 'What are these idiots doing running around and not having a clue?'"

The Apprentice continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
