The UK Celebrity Apprentice could be set for a comeback after a decade.
The spin-off to the main series aired for three series between 2007 and 2009 in support of Comic and Sport Relief.
Now rumour has it that BBC are reviving the special show next year.
"Top brass at the BBC all agreed it would be great to have the celeb version back on screen.”
And according to the tabloid, TOWIE's Gemma Collins is a favourite to be on the cast.
An insider said: “Gemma’s scared of Alan Sugar and doesn’t want to be made to look like a fool but she is considering it.
“Producers only want one reality name on the show and Gemma was the BBC’s top choice as they know she will bring the fun and humour element as well as having a massive social media influence to promote the show.”
The Celebrity Apprentice first aired in 2007 with Comic Relief Does The Apprentice starring Piers Morgan, Alastair Campbell, Cheryl Cole, Danny Baker, Jo Brand, Karren Brady, Maureen Lipman, Ross Kemp, and Trinny Woodall.
Then in 2008 Sport Relief Does The Apprentice included Phil Tufnell, Nick Hancock, Lembit Öpik, Kelvin MacKenzie, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Lisa Snowdon, Jacqueline Gold, Louise Redknapp, Clare Balding and Kirstie Allsopp.
The last series to air in 2009 starred Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Gerald Ratner, Jonathan Ross, Gok Wan, Michelle Mone, Patsy Palmer, Fiona Phillips, Carol Vorderman and Ruby Wax.
Alongside the Celebrity version, The Apprentice also aired a Young Apprentice spin-off between 2010 and 2012.
