The Apprentice 2017 candidates makeover hotel rooms for their latest task this week.

In week two of the new series, Lord Sugar summons the remaining 17 candidates to Stoke Park, an impressive five star hotel.

After a dramatic entrance by helicopter, Lord Sugar reveals that this week they’ll be working as interior designers.

The task is to make-over a bedroom at the hotel and pitch their design to the hotel’s manager and a leading interior designer.

Getting the luxury look is important but the teams will also need to keep an eye on their profit margin on a budget of £13,000.

If they let creative flair take over it could leave them at risk of forgetting about the bottom line and getting white washed in the boardroom.

Still split into Boys and Girls, the two teams take very different approaches to their rooms.

In these previews, we see the guys get mood boarding as they work on their ‘Best of British’ theme, although Lord Sugar’s aide Karren Brady doesn’t seem too impressed.

Meanwhile, the girls get stuck into decorating as they paint their room

During the pitch, the concepts are picked apart and big mistakes can no longer be covered up.

In the boardroom, while one team gets a pasting, the other is given a stripping down. And on the losing team, it’s time for one person to check out as Lord Sugar utters the words they all fear – “You’re Fired”.
