The new series of The Apprentice features "the most hungry and driven candidates ever".
Baroness Karren Brady of Knightsbridge CBE returns to the BBC One series alongside Lord Sugar and Claude Littner this week.
Baroness Brady, one of the most influential, high profile and respected female business leaders in the UK, will again be following the candidates on their tasks before reporting back to Lord Sugar in the boardroom.
And according to the businesswoman, things get seriously heated.
She told The Sun newspaper: “We have pushed them. There is a task in a five-star hotel and, put it this way, the hotel owners will never get over what the contestants did.
“The boardroom gets heated too. I actually had to sit the girls down and tell them to have respect for themselves because of the animosity that emerged in one encounter.”
Meanwhile, on the topic of what past candidates have been doing since the show, Karren Brady praised the success of former winner Dr Leah Totton.
"She is very professional, a strong beautiful woman. I like ambitious, feisty women, because that is what I was like," Karren said.
Of course, other candidates have ditched their businesses in favour of reality TV careers.
"They can make their own decisions. I know they would prefer to be in business," Karren said. “If you build a business it lasts a life time but being on Big Brother lasts for five minutes.”
The Apprentice 2017 begins at 9PM, Wednesday October 4 on BBC One.
