The Apprentice 2011's Karren Brady has tipped both Jim Eastwood and Edward Hunter to do well in this year's show. In an interview with ES Magazine Lord Sugar's aide, taking part in her second series of The Apprentice, described Edward 'Atta' Hunter as "amusing to watch" on the programme.
"Edward Hunter is the accountant who doesn’t want to be an accountant," Karren said. "It was quite amusing to see him struggle to break free from the stereotype."
Meanwhile the Vice-chairman of Westham said Jim Eastwood was "one to watch," adding: "He’s a bit of a smooth operator and always very calm and collected."
Karren also took the opportunity to hit back at Lord Sugar for suggesting woman should tell employers whether or not they're planning to have children in job interviews. "If you’re running a small business and people aren’t there, that’s a difficult thing to combine with your own ambitions," the mum of two explained. "But if you say you’d like children in the next five years and that rules you out of a job then I don’t think that’s particularly fair."
Karren added: "I managed to have a family and run a business, so I don’t see any problems."
Karren Brady’s full interview appears in ES Magazine, out with today’s Evening Standard.
