Next week's first two episodes of The Apprentice, to be shown on Tuesday May 10 and Wednesday May 11 on BBC One, will feature a mix of the old and new, it has been revealed. The first task will see the candidates challenge to sell veg whilst the next day they'll be plunged into the world of mobile apps.
On Day 1 the sixteen fresh faced candidates will, as always, be split into two teams. Each team will be given £250 to spend at New Covent Garden Market on fresh fruit and veg before selling it on for as much profit as possible. The teams use everything to shift the products, from selling it whole to making up lovely smoothies and juices!
Those who survive to Day 2 are then given a completely different task, being asked to create a brand new mobile app. The groups will have to come up with a concept for their app and create a prototype design before pitching to three tech experts. If that wasn't enough, the teams will then visit an Mobile Internet exhibition in London where they'll have to convince bloggers to support their product.
The Apprentice 2011 returns to BBC One on May 10 and 11 for a two day special.
