The Apprentice set to return on Tuesday May 10 at 9PM on BBC One, it has been confirmed!

The new series of The Apprentice will begin on Tuesday, May 10 at 9PM it has been revealed by Lord Sugar himself on Twitter. The second episode will follow the next day in its usual Wednesday slot, where it will continue to air for a further 10 weeks as Lord Sugar whittles down the latest batch of candidates.

This latest series will see yet another 16 business hopefuls take part in a variety of challenges by Lord Sugar as they all compete to be crowned his apprentice.

This time however there won't be a £100,000-a-year job waiting for them, instead a prize of a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar to help the successful candidate in starting their own business. Plus his own knowledge and experience.

Nick Hewer and Karren Brady will return to help Lord Sugar in his decisions, as well as keep an eye on the candidates as they go about their tasks.
