The Apprentice 2016: Luisa Zissman backs Alana Spencer to win

Luisa Zissman is tipping Alana Spencer to win The Apprentice 2016 this weekend.

The former runner up is backing the 'underdog' who has made it through to the final two alongside Courtney Wood.

"The penultimate episode of The Apprentice never ceases to disappoint," Luisa wrote of last night's show in her column for The Sun newspaper. "I’m so happy that they still have Claude doing the interviews, he really is the highlight of this episode.

"It’s brilliant watching him with the candidates making then so nervous they wobble like jelly."

Alana and Courtney survived the interviews with their business plans involving cakes and novelty gifts respectively.

"As soon as the episode started one of the first notes I wrote was ‘Alana – underdog?’ Seems I was right," Luisa said. "Alana is the ultimate apprentice underdog.

"She’s been ignored, pushed aside, disrespected and neglected by her fellow candidates in this process and yet has come out on top by getting through to the final.

"Her calm, cool and collected exterior remained as she coldly told competition Courtney “my heels are firmly in the ground.”

Luisa concluded: "I liked her a lot more after that and think I’ll be routing for my fellow cake queen to take the crown and the win. It would be the most surprising win yet if she took it."

The Apprentice 2016 final airs Sunday night at 9PM on BBC One.
