The Apprentice 2016: Jessica Cunningham's 'lies' cause a MAJOR row

Jessica Cunningham's 'lies' to the public cause a big bust up on The Apprentice 2016 this week.

It's after last week's show saw her warned about telling 'fibs' when selling products at Poole boat show.

Karren Brady commented to cameras at the time: "She's embellishing, telling little fibs, 'my kids like these', her kids haven't seen them, 'I've sold 5 paddle boards', she hasn't sold any."

This week the candidates are summoned to the National Portrait Gallery. Lord Sugar instructs the teams to organise an exclusive late night event at two of London’s biggest tourist attractions – The London Aquarium and Madame Tussauds.

In less than 36 hours, each team must organise and host an event to remember, keeping an eye on profits but also pleasing the punters! From setting up refreshments and entertainment, to making sure they sell enough tickets to fill their venue, both teams have a challenge on their hands.

However Paul Sullivan and Jessica get heated over the inclusion of hot food in the price of the ticket, in front of their paying punters.

It's claimed that Jessica has sold tickets by telling party goers that they'd get food, which Paul says was never the deal.

"I need you to explain what's going on," Paul asked Jessica.

"They paid £35 for a ticket, why don't we just give them some food?" Jessica tells him.

Watching on, Claude Littner is unimpressed, describing the pair's very public row in front of their guests as a "pretty bad spectacle".

On the other team, Grainne and Courtney reluctantly wear fancy dress costumes to sell tickets to their underwater event...

Elsewhere on The Apprentice this weekend, one project manager puts on a song and dance for the guests while one team's luxury evening starts to sound a bit more ‘bargain basement’ due to budget issues.

At the end of the night it's back to the boardroom where profits are totted up and refunds accounted for ahead of the winners being announced.

But while it’s a celebration for some, for the losers, the party is over and there is no hiding from the finger of blame and the dreaded words ‘You’re Fired’.

The Apprentice 2016 airs Thursday night at 9PM on BBC One.
