Tonight's The Apprentice 2016 results are in but who got fired and left the boardroom this week?

Yesterday's latest task on The Apprentice saw the candidates tested on their negotiation skills.

As usual, the traditional challenge had the remaining business wannabes split into two teams to hunt down a list of items for the lowest price.

But they were on a strict deadline with fines for arriving back late as well as any missing items and incorrect items.

Team Titan:
Project Manager: Courtney - with Karthik, Dillon, Grainne, Alana and Samuel
Paid: £333.11
Fines: £75
Total spent: £408.11

Team Nebula:
Project Manager: Trishna – with Paul, Frances, Rebecca, Sofiane and Jessica
Paid: £362.80
Fines: £157.75
Total spent: £520.55

After their defeat, PM Trishna decided to bring back Rebecca and Sofiane into the boardroom. Lord Sugar then reveals his final decision: “Sofiane, I’m concerned, you know, no smoke without fire. You go off and do your own thing, perhaps you’ve got no respect for others. My business partner has got to be somebody who can get on with people”.

“Rebecca, you asked for the opportunity to be a project manager and once again, you didn’t take it. You are a good talker, there is no question of that”.

“Trishna, I think the failing of this task lays firmly with the fact that the strategy was not adhered to. I find it very hard not to put the total blame on you”.

“It is difficult, this was a serious failure, on balance I’ve got to think about the people going forward in this and I’ve also got to think about past performance.

"On that basis, I’m going to have to say, Rebecca, you’re fired!”

The Apprentice 2016 continues next Thursday night on BBC One at 9PM.
