Aleksandra King has revealed the real reason she left The Apprentice 2016.
Aleksandra made a shock exit from The Apprentice 2016 last night, quitting half way through the latest task.
In the middle of a team meeting, Aleksandra declared: "I'm going to leave the process. I'm really sorry... I just... I'm just... it's not... I'm just not enjoying it."
She continued: "I"m really sorry, I'm going to go, good luck guys. I'm so sorry.
"I have found the process overwhelming, and stressful and really intense. I just want to go home to my husband and kids."
Now Aleksandra has revealed just why she decided to leave and insisted it wasn't because 'she couldn't hack the process'.
"That couldn't be further from the truth. I've never been brought back into the final three, the tasks were actually pretty manageable, I knew what I was doing," she said.
So why did Aleksandra leave?
She explained: "I just felt that the process itself was reflective of my future partnership [with Lord Sugar] and there were two main things that I thought won't work for me in that way. The first one was that there was a little bit of a blame culture there which creates an unnecessary amount of stress in people. I just don't feel business has to be like that - I think it can work a lot more in a collaborative fashion.
"And the second thing really was that the process for me didn't reflect a good work-life balance. The contact that I was actually allowed with my family was so limited to the point where it was completely unacceptable, unnecessary and a test that I just thought was completely irrelevant. I don't see how severely limited contact with your family is a great business skill."
Speaking to DigitalSpy, Aleksandra went on to declare she could've won the show had she stayed.
"I know what I'm capable of and I could have done a lot in that process if I had wanted to. I could have easily cruised through - I think I could have definitely stood a very, very good chance of winning if I'd wanted to stay on," she suggested.
The Apprentice 2016 continues Thursday nights at 9PM on BBC One.
