The Apprentice 2016 starts on TV tonight and here's a spoiler-filled preview of the first task.
The new series of The Apprentice begins this evening on BBC One from 9PM with 18 brand new candidates.
So far Lord Sugar has invested £1,250,000 of his own money in five thriving businesses, and isn’t stopping there. Over the next 12 weeks he’ll whittle down the hopeful candidates until only one remains.
Tonight the business wannabes ready to fight for his funding are summoned to the boardroom for the first time where Lord Sugar introduces this year’s candidates to his trusted aides, Baroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner.
It's the usual Boys v Girls teams for the task, where they’ll be rising early to get their stock of collectables to a car boot sale. The aim: to spot the treasure from within the trash and sell their stock for as much money as possible.
As always in the first week it's pretty much chaos as the candidates get to know one another, size up their competition and argue over their team name.
Oh, and actually complete the task, of course.
From rejected sales and rock bottom prices to a missing van full of stock, it all goes a bit wrong for both teams as they race to make cash from collectables.
At the end of the day the aspiring entrepreneurs are called back to the boardroom where the all important sales are tallied.
Tune in to find out who is first to hear Lord Sugar’s immortal words ‘You’re Fired’ on Thursday 6th October, 9PM on BBC One and BBC One HD
