Apprentice 2014 candidate Daniel Lassman has been the target of online death threats.
The rather enthusiastic contestant has holding on to his place in the competition by his finger tips having repeatedly appeared in the boardroom.
But Daniel's antics have left him being trolled online with his fiance fearing for him.
"I don’t want him to become the most-hated man in Britain," girlfriend Sophie Stoll said this week. “There’s been some nasty stuff said. He’s been getting death threats, everything.
“It’s been so nasty. He had it from the first episode. People just don’t like his character. In real life he’s a nice person.”
Sophie, who's been dating Daniel for 13 years, also revealed how Daniel had changed since he went on the show.
The pub quiz entrepreneur has been spotted splashing cash across the country, leaving one bar with a £29,000 bill before shelling out £130,000 on a car.
Sophie told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t want him to spend all of our money. But he’s got such an addictive personality. Once he starts something he can’t stop.
“I get worried our funds will run out. He just has these crazy ideas. He’s very spur of the moment."
Meanwhile, ditched hopeful James Hill has said he too has been the victim of online bullies after appearing on the BBC One show.
James told the Daily Star: "Bullying and things like that are a big thing on social media. You have to be thick-skinned. People out there do like to say bad things about people.
“It’s sad. You can’t please everybody. You can’t let people bother you.”
The Apprentice continues Wednesday nights on BBC One.
