Fired Apprentice candidate Steven Ugoalah has hit out at Lord Sugar and his former rivals.

Steven was one of THREE candidates to get the axe last week's Apprentice 2014 results.

And he claimed this weekend that Lord Sugar only axed him for ratings, saying: “Lord Sugar just did it for TV.

I was one of the best candidates there. He knew it would be a shock to get rid of the biggest character so early."

Steven added: "If he really wanted to entertain viewers then I should have been kept in until the end.

“It’s obvious I was the best candidate. Whatever I put my mind to I do. I never quit. The others were so keen to be friends with everyone. But when things went wrong they pointed the finger.”

Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper after his exit from the show, Steven also blasted his fellow former candidates for bullying him behind the camera at the contestants' house.

"People stopped talking to me back at the house – all of them," he explained. “I may have been victimised but I was never a victim. I couldn’t have cared less what they thought of me.

"I don’t think they have met someone as interesting as me before. I think they thought I was from Neptune or something. They didn’t know what to do.”

The Apprentice 2014 continues next Wednesday night on BBC One.
