Lord Sugar has teased that The Apprentice 2013 start date is just weeks away, indicating a May launch for the ninth series.
It seems like ages since the show was last on, having launched in March last year.
But Apprentice boss Lord Sugar insisted that the series hadn't followed the same fate of its short lived spin-off the Young Apprentice, and would be returning to BBC One very soon.
Lord Sugar tweeted this week: "When is the Apprentice coming back........ In a few weeks time."
It will be the ninth series of the show to air, with filming having started last year in October with the new batch of candidates.
Nick Hewer and Karren Brady are both expected to return to aide Lord Sugar, while BBC Two spin-off You’re Fired is also back.
The show returns after the axing of its spin-off series the Young Apprentice, which was ditched by the Beeb last year.
Writing on Twitter earlier this year, Lord Sugar told fans: “RT: will there be another series of Young Apprentice. hope so….. NO BBC HAVE DECIDED TO STOP IT”
The main show is set to run for at least two more years, however it was previously reported that Lord Alan Sugar had threatened to quit the BBC Over the axing of the Young Apprentice.
