Former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is set to go head to head with the ITV1 series this autumn by appearing on Strictly Come Dancing 2012.
The Daily Mirror report this morning that the Aussie popstar is wanted by Beeb bosses for the new run of the show, which is due to start in September.
It'll mean that Dannii will go head to head with The X Factor on Saturday nights.
BBC chiefs are said to be keen to get Dannii on board, but the singer is understood to currently be unsure about signing up.
A supposed source told the tabloid today: "The Strictly team would love to have Dannii as a contestant. She would be a huge attraction."
The insider added: “There has been a series of talks with her and her team, and the ball was very much left in her court.”
Dannii had been linked to an X Factor comeback earlier this year, but reportedly backed out after revelations made about her 'fling' with Simon Cowell in his biography.
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts on BBC One later this year.
