Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly considering asking ballet star Darcey Bussell to join the show's judging panel this year.
Darcy, who previously appeared on the show as a guest judge, will be brought in to replace Alesha Dixon who left for Britain's Got Talent earlier this year.
Current judge Craig Revel Horwood said that the 42-year-old would be a brilliant and credible addition to the show's line up.
“I think Darcy would be a good choice," he said at a press conference yesterday. “She is very credible, has done the show before, and I know she would love to do it.
“I’d really like to see her on the panel, and she’s very well thought of by the Strictly producers. She was fantastic as a guest judge.”
Craig, who will be back on the panel this autumn alongside Bruno and Len, continued: “Karen is a well-respected choreographer, who has choreographed several opening and closing number for Strictly.
“So she is well thought of at the show. She’s definitely been putting her name into the mix and is an option.”
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in September.
