Len Goodman wants to see Simon Cowell on Strictly Come Dancing (and he'll go on X Factor in return!)

Strictly Come Dancing's head judge Len Goodman has said he wants to swap positions with Simon Cowell on The X Factor.

Speaking to EntertainmentWise, Len revealed he wanted to see the music mogul on the Strictly dance floor, while he insisted he wouldn’t hesitate about getting on the X Factor stage for a song in return.

“Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Simon Cowell came on and learnt to dance? And I went over to The X Factor and sung – it would be a perfect swap!" the veteran judge said.

Len said the switch would be "ratings gold", but confessed he wasn't sure how good the talent on display would be!

“I’ve got a feeling he can’t dance and I know for sure I can’t sing, so it would be fantastic," he added.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year, but it'll be missing it's only female judge Alesha Dixon who was "pinched" by Simon for Britain's Got Talent this year.

Hitting out at the move earlier this week, Len moaned: "I would never knock the opposition and I think it is spiteful and mean if that is the case that Simon said ‘I just want to be spiteful towards Strictly’."
