Jaime has been a regular on the E4 series since series 2 in 2011.

This week he was confirmed as one of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing contestants.

After announcing he was taking part on ITV’s Loose Women, Jamie said: “I am beyond thrilled to be asked to be on Strictly, the only person potentially more thrilled is my mother. I have finally become the son she hoped for!”

Insiders told the Daily Mail newspaper that Jamie will still be appearing in the latest series of Made In Chelsea, due to begin around September or October on E4.

E4 previously announced that Made In Chelsea’s upcoming 18th series would also feature regulars Olivia Bentley, Alex Mytton, Mark Francis Vandelli, Miles Nazaire, James Taylor, Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo, Sophie Hermann, Harry Barron and Melissa Tattam, Oliver Proudlock, Fredrick Ferrier, Eliza Batten and Victoria Baker-Harber.

Also joining the cast will be series 17’s newer faces Maeva D’Ascanio, Verity Scarlett Bowditch, Freddie Brown, Amelia Mist, Rosi Mai and Angus Findlay.

Meanwhile, Jamie joins a Strictly Come Dancing line up that also includes footballer David James, comedian Chris Ramsey, EastEnders star Emma Barton, social media star Saffron Barker, actress Catherine Tyldesley, BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell, CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual and Viscountess Emma Weymouth.
