Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton have reacted to their Strictly Come Dancing win.
The result wasn't much of a surprise, with Stacey considered the hot favourite to win going into the live show.
And while she wasn't top of the leaderboard, viewer votes alone crowned her the winner on the night just as was predicted.
The win was an emotional one not only for Stacey but also her pro partner Kevin Clifton, who had been runner up on the show four times before this year.
After her win, Stacey told hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman: "I should say something quite poignant, shouldn't I? You know how highly I think of [Kevin]. I think you are the biggest gem.
"It's no surprise you have been in the final as many times as you have. It's daunting doing something you haven't done before. But he's so patient and he walks you through. You so deserve this. You so deserve this."
Following the show, Stacey took to Twitter to say in a video message: "You never take for granted that people are going to get behind you or that people will be fond of you or are going to rate your dancing so genuinely made up, genuinely touched, Kev so deserves this.
"I've had the most incredible time. I've got a Glitterball... I'm in a state of shock. I've just had the best time, thank you so much."
Kevin meanwhile tweeted: "We’ve only gone and done it!!!!! THANK YOU to everyone who voted! I can’t actually put it in to words right now... but First and most importantly I want to congratulate the superstar that is @StaceyDooley I am so proud of you!!!! ✨ @bbcstrictly thank you!"
Strictly Come Dancing will be back for a new series in 2019.
