BBC bosses are said to be furious with spoilers from the pre-recorded show seemingly posted online, revealing just who won and their scores.

The Strictly Christmas special was recorded back in November in front of a live studio audience.

Despite producers begging the crowd to keep the result a secret – and even taking their phones – it was ‘leaked’ just hours later, reports The Sun newspaper.

According to show insiders, show bosses have tried their best to stop the leaks but seemingly to no avail.

Although the winner has apparently been revealed online, it’s not actually clear if there is any truth to the rumours.

All we can do is watch the show on Christmas day to see! The Christmas special airs tonight, Tuesday December 25 at 5:30PM on BBC One.

This year the theme for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special is ‘fairy tales and making dreams come true’ and there will be a line up of six former Strictly contestants returning to the dance floor.

This year the leading ladies set to spread Christmas joy on the dancefloor are Anita Rani (series 13), Ann Widdecombe (series 8) and Caroline Flack (series 12).

They’re joined by Aston Merrygold (series 15), Jake Wood (series 12) and Michael Vaughan (series 10).

Each of the six couples will perform a Christmas inspired routine in a bid to be crowned Christmas champions 2018.

The judges will be on hand to score each couple and spread some cheerful joy, yet it will be down to the studio audience to vote for which dancing duo will win the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2018 and lift the famous Silver Star trophy.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2018 Christmas Special airs tonight at 5:30PM, Christmas Day, December 25 on BBC One, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
