Maya Jama has spoken out about rumours she's set to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line up.
The Radio and TV host was previously linked to this year's cast.
And in a new interview, Maya has done little to deny the rumours.
She told the Metro newspaper: "Oh I don’t know if I can talk about it!"
A rep for Maya clarified to the newspaper that there had yet to be an 'official request' from Strictly bosses.
According to The Sun, BBC chiefs think rising star Maya would help attract young viewers to the celebrity talent contest.
The 23-year-old, who is dating rapper Stormzy, is a co-host on BBC Radio 1 and ITV gameshow Cannonball.
She has also fronted coverage of the MOBO Awards and appeared as a contestant on last year's revival of The Weakest Link.
“Maya would be a great contestant on the show," a source commented. "She looks incredible, loves music and is already a big fan of the series.
“She’s had a busy start to the year after presenting at The Brits and landing a presenting slot at Radio One – and she doesn’t want to slow down.”
A spot on Strictly - one of TV's most-watched shows with 10million viewers - would no doubt boost Maya's profile further.
She is quoted as saying: "Strictly Come Dancing is amazing. I used to dance when I was younger for like a couple of years when I was about ten."
Other names Strictly Come Dancing bosses could sign this year include Coleen Rooney, TV personality Anneka Rice, X Factor star turned TV host Rylan Clark-Neal, football pundit Chris Kamara and Radio DJ Maya Jama.
2015 Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussein Hollyoaks star turned Oscar winner Rachel Shenton and The Chase's Mark Labbett have also been tipped to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2018, alongside former England footballer David James and Actress Michelle Keegan.
Strictly Come Dancing will begin on BBC One in the autumn.
