Welsh footballing legend Robbie Savage has reportedly signed up to take part in the latest series of BBC reality series Strictly Come Dancing, according to tabloid reports. The News Of The World report that the "soccer hardman" wants to be the first player to win the ballroom competition.
A source said: "He wants to be the first footballer to win Strictly and nothing is going to stop him."
The footie star was reportedly branded "the dirtiest player in Premier League history" throughout his career, having played for Leicester, Birmingham, Blackburn, and Derby. The 36-year-old picked up a whopping 89 yellow cards whilst on the pitch!
A TV source added: "Robbie is exactly what we want for Strictly - someone who will make waves.
"Every football fan in the country is going to want to see how ridiculous he looks wearing tight lycra and sequined outfits."
Strictly Come Dancing 2011 starts in September.
