Eamonn Holmes says there is NO WAY he is following Ruth Langsford onto Strictly Come Dancing.
Ruth appeared on the BBC One competition last year, but her husband and TV co-host Eamonn has no plans to take to the dancefloor next.
He said: “I’d rather let you pull my teeth out with pliers than do Strictly. It’s not the hips, it’s everything. F****** hell."
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Eamonn explained: “You’ve got to bend over backwards. It’s not just physical exercise, it’s extraordinary.
“As my wife will say, she thought she was a dancer until she was viciously exposed on the floor.
“I would never have the time or dedication and when it comes to the dance steps I’m mathematically dyslexic.”
Eamonn and Ruth will instead be working together on their next project, new Channel 5 consumer rights programme Do The Right Thing starts which begins Thursday at 9PM.
While we can definitely rule Eamonn out of Strictly, a number of other stars have already been rumoured for this year's series.
An insider told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: “Everyone knows that having Michelle Keegan out on the Strictly dance floor would be ratings gold.
“Everyone behind the scenes thinks she would set the dance floor alight. It’s now a matter of convincing her to sign up.”
The quizzer - nicknamed The Beast - is reportedly in talks to join this year's line up.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
The line up is usually confirmed in September time.
