Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly "desperate" to sign Rylan Clark-Neal.
Show chiefs are said to be get him on the dancefloor this year, amid rumours Big Brother could be coming to an end.
Rylan currently hosts the spin-off to the Channel 5 show and said he'd take part in Strictly if BB ever finished.
According to The Sun, Strictly bosses are "prepared to pull out all the stops" to get Rylan on the show.
"Rylan is charismatic and popular, and the bosses are sure he would be a huge hit on the show," a source said. “He is definitely one of their targets for 2018.”
Speaking previously about the show, Rylan said: "I'm being bullied to do Strictly Come Dancing. I'd love to do it but it's a very big time commitment. "
The Bit On the Side presenter explained: "I can’t as I’m at Big Brother, the timings would never happen. When Strictly starts, I’m at work still, so I see all the Strictly lot all the time.
"We have about a three week cross over."
However Rylan could soon have time on his hands, amid reports Big Brother may leave Channel 5.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will air in the summer.
It could well be the last ever, with Channel 5 yet to confirm if they'll be renewing the show beyond the end of the year.
“I’m hoping it doesn’t go anywhere, but no one’s told me anything yet,” main show host Emma Willis said last week.
The quizzer - nicknamed The Beast - is reportedly in talks to join this year's line up.
"Mark has become one of the best-known personalities on TV so he has come on to Strictly’s radar," a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “They think he could be a real hit with viewers, as he has been on The Chase.
“He would certainly make people stand up and take notice with his stature.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
The line up is usually confirmed in September time.
