Gemma and pro Gorka, who was partnered with Alexandra Burke, were said to have grown close on the BBC One series.

And the loved up couple, who just finished the Strictly tour together, have done little to dispel the rumours.

Today they shared cute Valentine’s Day snaps on the beach.

“Here’s to many more kid. Happy Valentines Day ? @gorka_marquez” posted Gemma to Instagram.

Fans were quick to send their support to the pair.

“Finally! The the biggest secret romance is really not that secret. Good luck,” one wrote.

Another added: “The both of you will make a lovely couple”

And a third posted: “So lovely to see you guys together ❤️️”

Back when Strictly was on air last year, Gemma and Gorka were said to have immediately hit it off.

It followed single Gemma admitting she was open to love on the show.

“I’ve been single ages so there wouldn’t be any curse for me. It would be a blessing,” the soap actress quipped when the new series kicked off.

The Sun reported that the pair were flirting in rehearsals from the first day.

A show insider told the newspaper: “There is definitely something developing — everyone can see there’s an obvious attraction.

“They couldn’t keep away from each other at group rehearsals. Gorka even invited Gemma to his birthday meal and they sat together the whole night.”

However Gemma and Gorka originally played down the relationship rumours last October.

“We hang out together and do some workouts and I think she is beautiful,” said Gorka at the time. “But we are just friends.”

Also speaking out on the reports, Gemma told the Daily Star: “I really don’t want to talk about my love life to be honest.

“I don’t feel I need to respond to anyone about what I’m doing.”

She added: “I’ve had to talk about who I’m dating for the past 15 years. You’ve got to take everything with a pinch of salt.”
