Two Strictly Come Dancing stars have reportedly been enjoying a secret fling backstage.
The two unnamed stars are said to have had "an instant connection" on this year's series.
What apparently originally started as a "flirty friendship" turned into "something more", claim sources behind the scenes.
"One weekend, once filming on the BBC show had ended, they gave into temptation," the Daily Star newspaper reports.
A Strictly spy told the tabloid: “Everyone will be asking: ‘Whodunnit?’ It’s a great guessing game for everyone. The thing is the names will be quite an eye opener if they ever do leak out.”
The insider added: “They are worried their secret will be blown. The reality is that it was a one-off.”
It's since been alleged that the identity of the secret couple has leaked online.
"The fling is now being openly discussed on Twitter - meaning it could soon become public knowledge among Strictly's millions of viewers," said a source.
They added: "To have their identities leaked online is a complete nightmare.
"It started as a bit of flirting and suddenly they're the latest in a long line of romances on the show."
Speculation has been rife and it's forced some of the show's stars to speak out.
Simon Rimmer laughed off the idea it was him and Gemma Atkinson who were the focus of the rumours. "Gemma is like a daughter to me and has become a friend of all my family. I think it’s funny," he tweeted.
This year's Strictly has been filled with rumours of a romance.
Mollie King and AJ Pritchard insist they're not a couple, despite their fellow celebs and pros - and even hosts Claudia Winkleman And Tess Daly - teasing them about it.
Gemma Aktinson has also denied rumours of a behind the scenes fling, having reportedly got close to pro dancer Gorka Marquez during the show.
Meanwhile, it was Joe McFadden who won Strictly Come Dancing 2017 in the results show, where viewers had all the power.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in the new year.
