Here's a look at how the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 couples have been getting on in their first few days of training.

The 15 celebrities on the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up were coupled up with their pro dancers during the weekend's launch and this week begin their first training sessions.

And for some it's been quite the eye opener with a LOT of tired feet.

Susan Calman, partnered up with Kevin Clifton, said in training: "I have felt physically sick from the moment I arrived here. The dizziness is really bad... my goodness do I feel sick."

Kevin added: "She's very fierce in practice... I don't think she likes getting things wrong."

"There's a bit of a pain in the neck and back, but that's like a trophy," Susan continued, "You need to feel something, don't you?"

Meanwhile, Ruth Langsford has won the title of first celebrity to get themselves injured on Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

Ruth, who is partnered with Anton Du Beke, has hurt her ankle after just one training session.

“I think I kicked myself," she said. "It’s day one... hopefully things can only get better, not worse."

TV presenter Ruth added: “I am aching in places I didn’t know ached.”

Gemma Atkinson is also covered in bumps and bruises, taking to Instagram to quip: "I thought I was fit... and then I started dancing 😩😂 "

But despite all the pain and tiredness, some of the celebs just can't rest.

And unlike in recent years, there will be just the one live show to open the series rather than two split over Friday and Saturday.

Strictly 2017's first live runs for a marathon 2 hours, 20 minutes starting on Saturday, September 23 at 6:25PM.

The show will wrap up at 8:45PM, meaning an overlap with The X Factor on ITV which will air its latest episode the same night from 8PM.
