The Strictly Come Dancing 2017 launch trailer has been revealed tonight, featuring all the celebs and pros.

The 40 second spot begins airing on BBC One this weekend ahead of next weekend's launch show.

The ad features the new celebrity contestants and pros, singing along to Strictly's classic theme tune.

Host Tess Daly says in a voice over: "Feel the Strictly Effect on BBC One."

The BBC has announced the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 launch date will be next weekend.

The pre-recorded launch show will be filmed on Tuesday, 5 September.

The launch date on TV will then be Saturday, September 9 at 7PM. The one-off show before the live stages will run until 8:40PM.

For fans of both Strictly and The X Factor, it's bad news with the two shows overlapping from 8PM.

The Strictly launch show will be introducing us to the celebrities and pro dancers and seeing them paired up.

The pro line up for Strictly 2017 has already been confirmed with a big shake up.

The line up includes three new ladies: Dianne Buswell from Australia, Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine and Amy Dowden from Wales.

The three new Strictly Come Dancing professionals will replace Joanne Clifton and Oksana Platero who are leaving the series, along with Natalie Lowe who previously announced she was not returning.

Those returning to the Strictly dance floor once again are male dancers, Anton Du Beke, Brendan Cole, Kevin Clifton, Neil Jones, Pasha Kovalev, Gorka Marquez, Giovanni Pernice, AJ Pritchard and Aljaž Škorjanec

Plus returning female dancers Karen Clifton, Chloe Hewitt, Katya Jones, Oti Mabuse and Janette Manrara.

As for the celebs, fifteen names have been confirmed: They include The Saturdays' Mollie King, EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, Host of ITV's This Morning and regular Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford, Reverend Richard Coles, and soap actress Gemma Atkinson.

Also on the official line up right now are TV chef and presenter Simon Rimmer, Holby City actor Joe McFadden, BBC Radio 4 comic Susan Calman, JLS singer Aston Merrygold and comic Brian Conley.

They're joined by Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins and Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu.

Rounding off the line up are X Factor winner turned West End star Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, and Debbie McGee, TV personality, presenter and the widow of magician Paul Daniels.
