It doesn't seem as though Alesha Dixon's attempts to woo The X Factor last month have done her any favours at the BBC, with inside sources suggesting she wouldn't be missed on Strictly Come Dancing! The popstar last week confirmed she'll be sticking with the dancing show.
Reports had suggested Alesha was to jump ship to The X Factor, however a source told the Daily Express: “This was more a case of her agent pushing her towards Simon Cowell than him approaching her.”
The source added: "Strictly would definitely miss judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli or Craig Revel Horwood.
"The same is not the case with Alesha.”
Alesha had previously said she preferred rival show The X Factor, describing the role of the judges as "more creative".
However the singer's manager confirmed recently: “Contrary to recent speculation, Alesha is committed to Strictly and looks forward to taking her place on the judges’ panel when the show returns.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns in September 2011.
