Bruce Forsyth WILL be back as host on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, it has been revealed. According to The Sun, the 83-year-old telly host has showed no signs of retiring as he agreed to a new £500,000 deal to front the reality dancing competition this autumn.
Despite speculation that Brucie was to quit the show this year, with Vernon Kay tipped to replace him, a spokesperson told the newspaper: "We're delighted and looking forward to the new series."
Brucie's co-host Tess Daly is also set to return, while Claudia Winklemen has yet to sign a contract amongst rumours she'll be hosting the Xtra Factor this year.
Bruce seemed to be delighted with the news, giving his wife a twirl on the catwalk whilst in Cannes this week. He said: "I had a wonderful time. I've never been on a catwalk. In the last couple of years I've done so many new things."
Strictly Come Dancing 2011 will start in September.
