Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson could be a part of this year's Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up.
At least if the she gets her way.
Gemma would be far from the first soap star on Strictly and the show wouldn't be her first reality telly appearance either, previously taking part in ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Gemma said: “I’d love to do Strictly – I’ve never been asked before but it would be really great to learn how to dance. I’m not sure how I’d handle in the high heels though.
“I’m used to wearing my converse so that might be difficult.”
Other regulars from the soaps who have appeared on Strictly in recent years include EastEnders' Tameka Empson, Jake Wood and Kellie Bright, Corrie's Georgia May Foote and last year's finalist, Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac.
And talking of soap stars doing Strictly, EastEnders actress Samantha Womack is reportedly on the 'wish list' for Strictly Come Dancing 2017 after leaving the BBC One series.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sam didn’t want to do Strictly while on EastEnders but now she has more time on her hands it was a very appealing offer.
“It’s too early for contracts but she’s keen and the show are keen so it’s pretty much a done deal.”
Strictly Come Dancing will be back on BBC One later this year.
Other celebs rumoured already include Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, actress Carley Stenson and comic Joel Dommett.
