He and pro partner Katya Jones had an unfortunate mishap on the dance floor as they closed the show.
In a stunt in which Katya wraps her legs around Ed's neck while standing on her hands, it seems one of the pair got their placement wrong and it left Ed getting a foot in the face.
However the pro quickly laughed off the accident and continued on with the routine, dancing his Gangnam Style themed Salsa to please the live crowds.

The mishap comes after Ed admitted he was worried about a completely different part of his routine.
Ed and Katya will be attempting a lift in one of their dances which went "horrifically" wrong during the live shows last year.
It looked like Ed was close to dropping Katya when the pair were dancing a Foxtrot American Smooth to '(Is This The Way To) Amarillo' by Tony Christie.
And they'll recreate the routine - and lift - for the live tour.
Talking about performing that lift once again each night, Ed quipped: "Katya’s brilliant and brave."
Six celebs will be on the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 tour alongside the pair: Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton, Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse, Ore Oduba and Karen Clifton, Daisy Lowe and Aljaž Skorjanec and Lesley Joseph and Gorka Marquez.
The live arena shows begin started last Friday in Birmingham and Ed is super excited to be on the road.
"The reality is that if you’re Sir Paul McCartney or Bruce Springsteen, you probably get a bit complacent about playing packed arenas. But if you’re me, you never do this," he said.
Strictly Come Dancing will be back on TV for its new series later this year.
