MasterChef star Gregg Wallace has revealed he'd love to take part in Strictly Come Dancing later this year on the BBC, even going as far to say the Beeb wouldn't need to pay him! The 44-year-old said all he need to take part in the ballroom dancing competition was the time.
“I’d like to do it so you wouldn’t have to pay me," Gregg told RadioTimes, adding: "I just need the time. I’m a great dancer.”
However his MasterChef co-host John Torode wasn't so sure about going on the programme himself, saying: “Gregg’s a far better dancer than I am but I’d love to learn.”
In the interview, Gregg quipped: “John’s the chef but I’m the one with rhythm. John’s only got rhythm if he’s beating an egg.”
Other celebs currently in the line for Strictly Come Dancing later this year include The One Show presenter Alex Jones.
