Strictly Come Dancing bosses have a potential competitor for their 2017 series in Ruth Langsford, who says she's "DESPERATE" to do the show.
The This Morning presenter has frequently been tipped for the dance contest in recent years, alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes.
But Ruth has revealed that she's actually NEVER had an approach from the BBC - unlike her other half.
"I’m still desperate to do Strictly but they’ve never asked me," she told the Daily Express. "Eamonn’s been asked more than once!"
Strictly isn't Ruth only TV goal, as she explained: "I’d love it if Eamonn and I had our own Oprah-style chat show."
However, the 56-year-old also admitted to the newspaper that she fears becoming irrelevant in the TV industry.
"Sometimes I wake up in cold sweats at night thinking, ‘What would I do if I couldn’t work in TV any more?’," she mused. "I don’t feel I’m qualified to do anything else."
Strictly has only just wrapped its 2016 series and bid farewell to its long-serving head judge, Len Goodman.
Nonetheless, the rumour mill is already churning out famous names that could take to the dancefloor next year.
One person who probably won't be signing up Noel Edmonds, who claims he turns Strictly down "every year".
