The judges' gave their usual marks for the trio's routines but public votes alone decided the Strictly 2016 winner yesterday.
Who won Strictly Come Dancing 2016?
After 13 weeks of live shows, it was Ore Oduba who won Strictly Come Dancing 2016 in Saturday's final results.
Ore beat Danny and Louise in this year's live final after the finalists danced three routines.
In round one, the trio each performed a previous routine as chosen by the judges. Ore and Joanne were up first with an American Smooth to 'Singin' In the Rain', Louise and Kevin reprised the Cha Cha to 'Flashdance... What A Feeling' by Irene Cara and Danny and Oti performed the Quickstep to 'I Won't Dance' by Fred Astaire for a second time.
Lines then opened for viewers to vote for a winner both online and via landlines and mobiles.
Next, the final three each performed their showdances.
Ore and Joanne performed their Showdance to “I Got Rhythm” by George and Ira Gershwie, Danny and Oti danced to “Set Fire To The Rain” by Adele and Louise and Kevin hit the dancefloor to “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston.
For the final performance of the night, the final three each performed one of their favourite dances from the series.
Ore and Joanne’s Favourite Dance was their Jive to “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars, Danny and Oti’s choice was their Samba to “Magalenha” by Sergio Mendes and Louise and Kevin’s decided on their Argentine Tango to “Tanguera” by Sexteto Mayor.
Come the end of the night, Ore Oduba was on top with a total of 119 points, dropping just one point from his three dances with two perfect 40s.
However public votes alone decided the winner as Ore lifted the glitterball at the end of the show.
