Kevin Clifton and Joanne Clifton are preparing to go head to head in the Strictly Come Dancing final tonight.

Both the pros are still in the competition with Kevin partnered up to singer Louise Redknapp while Joanne is with sports presenter Ore Oduba.

Joanne, the current reigning Christmas Strictly champion, declared gleefully back in October: "I'm the only Clifton to have lifted the trophy! That's in Grimsby on my mum's mantelpiece, just to remind Kevin."

Chatting on It Takes Two, Joanne added: "There is rivalry, yes. Kevin, you're going down."

Now the final is tonight and the pair and their celeb partners are getting ready to face off.

But who will their parents be supporting from the audience?

"They vote more for me because I'm the favourite child," Joanne joked ahead of the show tonight.

Meanwhile, Kevin revealed: "They told me they were going to vote for Danny and Oti so they don't have to choose!"

This is Joanne's first time in a Strictly final but Kevin's FOURTH final appearance, a record for the show.

And Kevin confessed he was secretly hoping that this might finally be the year he actually wins.

"We're all going to be asked the same question and we're all going to say, 'It's all about the enjoyment', and it is," he said. "But also, at the moment when we're all stood there [waiting for the result], we'd all be lying if we said we didn't have that little bit in us that's hoping they're going to call our name out.

"And yeah, I'm starting to think that maybe I'm running out of chances! But it's a massive thing just to be there in the final so I think we all do want to enjoy it."

The remaining three couples will return to the dancefloor in the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 final tonight on Saturday 17th December at 6:40PM.

There is NO results show, either tonight or tomorrow, with the winner revealed straight after the performances.
