Strictly Come Dancing 2016: Ore Oduba has a risky showdance planned

Ore Oduba is going all out with his showdance on the Strictly Come Dancing final this weekend.

The outsider to win, Ore has his work cut out to lift the glitterball trophy but is definitely going for it.

He and pro partner Joanne Clifton will be performing their Showdance to “I Got Rhythm” by George and Ira Gershwin

Chatting on It Takes Two last night, Ore was asked to describe his showdance in three words but replied: "Er, um - 'great' and 'boom' and..."

Joanne added: "Big massive props... It's quite dangerous, we could break legs."

The pro dancer, who is in the Strictly final for the first time, continued: "I'm lucky with this one - it's a ballroom showdance and I think that suits him really well.

"It's his style, the whole Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly character and he loves the music and he loves that style which is perfect for me. Because basically you've got to do a showdance around their skills and to show off their strength and his strength is that, luckily for me."

Ore added: "The thing that is great is that we've matched each other every single week... we are the perfect pair.

"I couldn't think of a more perfect partner to be able to share this dance, to show her strength and show the dance-like style that I would most like to perform. It's perfect."

Ore and Joanne will also be performing their Favourite Dance - the Jive to “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars - as well as a third routine chosen by the judges.

Strictly Come Dancing's final air on BBC One this Saturday night, LIVE from 6:40PM.

There will be no separate results show, either on the Saturday or Sunday, with the winner revealed straight after the performances.
